All this means that we can offer our customers the best products at the best possible prices. Furthermore when new products are released we will be the first to know about it.

With a name like cheapfireextinguishers.co.uk what choice did we have! There is actually no reason why all fire protection companies can’t be cheap like us, they are just a bit greedier than we are. We can be cheap because we can cut out a lot of the overheads that force the price of fire extinguishers up. Overheads like staff, salesmen, fancy offices and company cars. This means we can pass the saving direct on to you.
Choosing products
Tell me about your products?
Although we are cheap, we do not compromise on the quality of our products. We only sell fire extinguishers and fire blankets that conform to the latest standards, currently this includes the British Standard Kitemark, BSEN approval and CE mark. We also only sell new and unused products that are manufactured in the UK. With us you have no fears over the quality of our products.
How do I choose the right products?
Choosing the right fire extinguisher is easy, on each product page we will identify the suitable uses for each extinguisher and the environments that they are best suited to. It’s even easier if you are comparing an existing quote with our prices, fill out the order form and you can see the exact price including any delivery charges. To encourage email correspondence we will always respond to your emails first.
Do I need to wall fix extinguishers and fire blankets?
The British Standard advises that all extinguishers should be wall mounted. For your convenience all our fire extinguishers come complete with a suitable wall hanging bracket. Fire blankets can simply be fitted with a pan head screw. Care should be taken when fixing anything to the wall. Please ensure that the fabric of the wall and the fixings used are strong enough to cope with the weight of the fire extinguisher and that you do not drill into any electric cables or water pipes. The British Standard recommends that small units be mounted with their handle approximately 1.5 metres from the ground, and larger units with the handle mounted only 1 metre from the ground.
As an alternative to wall mounting your extinguishers we offer a full range or stands for plasterboard or glass partition walls or where no suitable wall space can be located and cabinets for external use.
Payment
How do I pay for my order?
Payment is really simple, we want your money so we offer plenty of ways for you to give it to us. We accept on-line payments by Switch and all major credit cards with the exception of American Express. We also accept payment by electronic Bank Payment (BACS) and also by cheque.
How secure are credit card payments with you?

Delivery
What are your carriage costs?
At cheapfireextinguishers.co.uk we work very hard to maintain our costs, and in turn the price’s you pay. It is for this reason that we have adopted a very simple pricing strategy for the carriage of your products. No matter how much you buy from us you pay just one price: £12.00 in England & Wales. That’s why we need your correct postcode when you order, delivering to you accurately helps us to keep the delivery charge so cheap.
When will my products be dispatched?
We don’t charge extra for a next day service, with us, its standard. Order before noon and your products will be dispatched the same day (subject to stock availability). After all that’s what you are paying your money for. Order after noon and your products will be with you in 48 hours. We will always inform you if we are expecting any delays with your delivery.
Do you deliver outside of England and wales?
Yes we can deliver outside of England and Wales but as you can appreciate freight charges vary greatly depending on size, weight and destination, please contact us if you require an accurate costing for the Isle of Wight, Channel Islands, Isles of Scilly, Isle of Man, Republic of Ireland, Northern Ireland, Scotland, European or Worldwide destinations.
Guarantee, Warranty and Returns
Do I get a product guarantee?
Don’t worry, all products are new, unused, and will be delivered direct to you or your requested delivery point. We offer a full twelve month guarantee on all our products from the day of delivery which covers defects or faults in design or build. If any problems occur we will repair or replace any faulty products free of charge. For more details please read our terms and conditions section.
What do I do if I need to return a product?
Problems are rare but in the unlikely event of a product reaching you in less than perfect condition we will repair or replace products free of charge. Please ensure that we are notified of any faults from delivery within 24 hours of the products arrival. Please ensure that all goods are returned to us in the same packaging they arrived in. Maintenance
How do I get my fire extinguishers maintained?
cheapfireextinguishers.co.uk does not currently offer a maintenance service, that’s partly why we can keep our overheads so low. However we do work in partnership with several maintenance companies throughout the UK, if you fall within the geographical area of one of these we will be able to offer you a competitive quote. If we are unable to help we recommend that all servicing is conduced by a BAFE approved company, more information can be found at www.bafe.org.uk
